2. SEVA SADAN EYE HOSPITAL

Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital Trust came into existence in 1987 due to the Bhopal Gas tragedy (in 1984) with severe loss of vision and blindness. Looking to the agonies & pains of sufferers, Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji blessed the society by organizing free eye camps which later on paved way for setting up Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital Trust.

In this successful journey of 32 years, we have examined over 2.48 Million patients and performed surgeries of more than 2.53 lac patients in the hospital. We have organized thousands of Free Eye Camps in far flung rural areas and urban slums for financially weaker section of the society. We have also performed Cornea Transplantation (Keratoplasty) of around 1616 visually impaired patients free of cost and given them the “Gift of Sight”. The SewaSadan Eye Hospital has now become Synonym of Blindness Eradication.
